Jermaine Pennant signs Portsmouth loan deal

Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant will spend the rest of the season at Portsmouth after signing a loan deal to join Tony Adams' side.
Pennant, 26, is out of contract at Anfield in the summer and had also attracted interest from Real Madrid.
But after initially being reluctant to move to the south coast, Portsmouth today confirmed they have agreed the move.
And Tony Adams is looking forward to being reunited with a player he knew from Pennant's early days at Arsenal.
He said: "I've known him for a long time. We were together at Arsenal a long, long time ago. He was the new kid on the block and a very exciting prospect.
