Carlos Tévez Trying to Define His Future With Manchester United

Carlos Tévez, Argentine football player that started to form his football career at All Boys second division club from Argentina, moving later en 2001 to the Boca Juniors club from first division, where he managed to grow and develop as a professional footballer. On his Boca phase, Tévez seeded a great amount of triumphs that led him to compete at an international level, even participated in the Argentinean national team that participated in the 2004 Olympic Games of Athens.

Subsequent to competing at the Olympics at Greek, the Corinthians from Brazil completed the signing of Carlitos, who said goodbye to the Argentinean followers giving Boca the last goal that crowned them as champions of the Copa Sudamericana 2004. His path through Corinthians was short but left a good mark by being a fundamental piece in obtaining the Campeonato Brasileiro, this made him worthy of the title for King of the American Football for the third time. In 2006 season the club had a bad streak that lead to some problems with several fans, which ended up with Tévez departure to the old continent.

For 2006, the West Ham United club from England obtained the Tévez’ services as loan, on this team the Argentinean also showed a high player quality by pull out of the low zone becoming more famous at an European level.

The good glance that the “Apache” managed to create around him in Europe got Manchester United interest on the striker, joining him to their players chart around mid 2007, starting most of the Red Devils’ games. Thanks to the spectacular goals that helped the team to won the 2007-08 Barclays Premier League title. Besides in 2008 the Reds along with Carlos Tévez conquer the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup, which helped him establish as one of the best Argentine players of the present generations.

Currently Tévez remains in Manchester United, where according to him he feels very pleased despite that the adhesion of the Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov to the team has complicated his presence on the field.

The arrival of Berbatov has made Tévez spent more time on the bench that out on the field, this has caused him a little unconformity, although he knows very well that is in a big team with many excellent players, where everyone has to struggle to obtain the starting positions. Without a doubt Sir Charles, as he is called for the English, has figured out how to stand out on a team that counts with players like Wayne Rooney, Scholes, Giggs and even the 2008 European star: Cristiano Ronaldo.

Carlitos, whose contract with Manchester finishes with the present campaign, has stated that his wish is to continue with the English club; therefore he is waiting for an offer to stay with the Old Trafford. It is rumored that the possible separation could be related with Real Madrid and Tévez salary’s expectations, as he pretends to level his partner, Ronaldo’s payment.

Tévez hasn’t received any offers from Manchester, but that’s something that doesn’t really worry him as he knows that there will probably be other teams interested on him. However he would stay with his current team if they decide to make him a good proposal that gives him the tranquility needed.

From his part, Sir Alex Ferguson has not felt affected by the situation with the Argentine player, because although knowing well the quality of Carlos, he also is aware that a valuable player board like the one Manchester owns wont missed Tévez that much. For the South American continuing with the Reds is an important deal regardless of the offers received, but for the moment waits unstressed on respect to his future; just one thing is for sure on his mind as he has declared, and that’s the in four or five years he will be returning to Boca Juniors.
