Robin Van Persie is ready to sign a double-your-money deal to stay at Arsenal.

The Dutch striker will pen a £70,000-a-week contract if the club can convince him it can still compete for the major honours.

Van Persie, who has only 15 months to run on his current deal, has been linked with a move to Inter Milan after becoming frustrated at the lack of silverware in recent seasons.
